Back up before upgrading
Preserve at least:
- The MariaDB database.
- Persistent MediaHub storage/data volume.
- Android signing identity and password backup.
- Managed branding/VPN/template/build data stored in the persistent area.
Docker / Plesk upgrade rule
For an existing Plesk stack, keep the existing database credentials and volumes. Upload the new image and change only the Management image tag in the existing stack unless a release-specific upgrade guide explicitly says otherwise.
Do not replace a working deployment with a fresh-install stack that contains newly generated database credentials.
Native Ubuntu
The native update script keeps /var/lib/mediahub and MariaDB in place, but you should still take a database and filesystem backup before running it.
