Highlights
- Dynamic hidden Xtream provider DNS.
- Branding and app identity controls.
- Dynamic feature controls and app restrictions.
- Managed OpenVPN profile provisioning.
- Optional managed Jellyfin and Emby server addresses.
- Generated customer APKs signed with the customer's own signing identity.
- Configuration/control-plane design: media traffic and end-user media credentials do not pass through Management.
Media-server management
Jellyfin and Emby addresses can be configured centrally. When an address is configured, managed MediaHub uses it automatically and hides the address from the end user. Leaving a provider blank preserves MediaHub's normal user-entered server workflow.
Plex continues to use its existing TV link-code flow.
Privacy changes
The managed Android app no longer displays the Management panel address in its About screen. The endpoint is still necessarily present internally and may be discoverable through reverse engineering or network inspection.
Deployment options
Docker / Plesk Docker is the recommended deployment. A native Ubuntu Server 24.04 LTS amd64 package is also provided for VPS users who do not want Docker.
Pre-release fixes
- Default tagline is Connect your media rather than an empty value.
- Reset to MediaHub restores the default tagline.
- Branding action-button spacing/alignment corrected.
- System branding image-tools health check corrected.
Alpha status
Use a test deployment before replacing an existing installation and keep backups of the database, MediaHub storage and Android signing identity.
