MediaHub Desktop 0.2.2-beta — Windows Beta I’ve now reached the point where I’m ready to open up testing of the Windows Desktop version of MediaHub.

This is still an early Beta and I’m still learning as I build it, so at this stage I’m mainly looking for feedback around everyday use, playback, stability and anything that behaves differently across different Windows setups.

What’s included in 0.2.2-beta IPTV through Xtream Codes Jellyfin, Emby and Plex integration Live TV, Movies and Series Fullscreen Windows playback Multi-monitor support Accounts and settings retained between updates Branded Windows installer New in-app update system, allowing future Beta releases to be detected, downloaded and installed directly from MediaHub Windows Player & Multi-Monitor Support One of the main areas I’ve been working on recently is making the Windows player behave properly on a desktop setup.

You should now be able to leave MediaHub fullscreen on one monitor, continue working normally on another monitor, and then click straight back onto the video when you want the player controls again.

The player should remain fullscreen and continue playing while MediaHub is not the active application, rather than minimising when another window is selected.

Updates 0.2.2-beta also introduces the new MediaHub in-app update system.

When a future Beta version becomes available, MediaHub can notify you within the application and allow you to download and install the update without manually finding each new installer.

There is also a manual Check for Updates option within Settings → About.

Windows SmartScreen A quick note before installing:

The Windows Beta is currently not digitally signed, so Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may show an “unrecognised app” warning when running the installer.

This is expected for the Beta at the moment.

Please only install MediaHub from the official MediaHub download location.

Feedback If you do test the Windows version, feedback and bug reports are very welcome.

In particular, I’d be interested to hear about: Playback issues Fullscreen or multi-monitor behaviour Different display resolutions/scaling IPTV or media-server compatibility Installer/update issues General UI or usability problems If reporting an issue, please don’t include IPTV usernames/passwords, server tokens or other account credentials in screenshots or posts.

Thanks again to everyone who has tested MediaHub, reported bugs or suggested features so far.
