MediaHub Desktop 0.3.0-beta Released for Windows

I’ve now released MediaHub Desktop 0.3.0-beta for Windows.

This is a significant update for the Windows version, bringing it much closer to the current Android experience while also improving stability, scaling and playback across desktop systems.

What’s New

MediaHub Desktop 0.3.0-beta includes:

Updated Home screen and current MediaHub branding Improved scaling across different resolutions and window sizes 8 selectable themes Standard and Compact display density Multiple IPTV account support Home screen personalisation Improved handling of large IPTV providers Live TV pause, rewind and Go Live Two-channel MultiView New Football section with EPG-based channel matching Improved Jellyfin, Emby and Plex browsing Better fullscreen and maximised-window playback Updated loading, focus and error states throughout the app Football Comes to Windows

The new Football section introduced with Android 0.6.1-beta is now also available on Windows.

You can browse upcoming fixtures and select a match to have MediaHub search your IPTV provider’s TV Guide for channels which may be showing it.

As with the Android version, matching depends on the quality of the EPG supplied by your provider.

Easier Upgrades

The Windows installer has also been improved so previous MediaHub installations are upgraded cleanly rather than leaving multiple versions installed.

If you already have a supported version of MediaHub Desktop installed, the app will automatically check for updates and prompt you when 0.3.0-beta is available.

You can start the upgrade directly from MediaHub, and your existing accounts, settings and preferences should remain in place.

Still Beta

MediaHub Desktop is still in Beta, so feedback and bug reports are very welcome, particularly around Live TV, MultiView, Football matching, large IPTV providers and Jellyfin/Emby/Plex playback.

Please don’t share IPTV usernames, passwords or provider URLs publicly when reporting an issue.

Thanks again to everyone testing MediaHub and helping improve the Windows version.
