Jellyfin and Emby
Normal MediaHub asks the user for the server address and credentials. In a managed deployment, the administrator can optionally configure a Jellyfin and/or Emby server address centrally.
When a managed address is present:
- MediaHub uses it automatically.
- The server-address field is hidden from the user.
- The user still supplies the account credentials.
When no managed address is present, MediaHub keeps the standard editable server-address flow.
Plex
Plex continues to use its existing TV link-code authentication flow. It is not treated as a simple centrally managed server-address field.
Changing a managed address
Jellyfin and Emby addresses are dynamic Management configuration. An administrator can change the address in the panel and installed compatible managed apps can pick up the new value without rebuilding the APK.
